An Eco-Friendly Love Pod

Went to Westchester County on Sunday, to view the headstone for Hubby’s dad.  It’s just been over a year since my father-in-law passed away.  We didn’t have an official unveiling, just went to pay our respects. Upon leaving, we saw a headstone with the “Live Long and Prosper” (Jewish kohen Priestly Blessing) sign etched in it.

The town my in-laws are buried in is named Valhalla.  I find that more amusing than I probably should.  :)

It was a beautiful day, even with all the backed-up traffic; for no good reason that we could see.  Cars were backed up, backed up, backed up…and then they weren’t.

After the cemetery, we drove around for a bit and ended up in Tarrytown, NY.  Looked like a cute little town so we stopped and walked around for a while.  I browsed around in a few antique stores, just to see what was there.  Cutest thing I found was 2 guys with 2 beagle-colored Jack Russell terriers. They (the dogs) were so cute & friendly!

Got up this morning at 8:30 to go work out at the gym with Hubby.  He spent an hour walking on the treadmill.  I did the treadmill for about 15 minutes, and then 30 minutes on machines.  I HATE working out with a passion but I have to lose weight and tone up as my knees are killing me.  Doctor said I’m heading for both knee replacements and I really don’t want that.
